We got games tomorrow and I’ve got picks. You can point to my recent record and think “why would I trust these picks?” And that’s fair.

But this week is different. I studied these lines, let my mind marinade in them and didn’t rush myself. I takes a big man to be knocked down like I was, only to come back stronger. Let’s cook.

Bets

MORTAL LOCK (3-4)

I promise, 100% guarantee I will not lose another mortal lock the rest of this season. I’m starting my huge comeback with:

Colorado +7 @ USC

I think I love this pick too much. Colorado is ranked 19th in the country and remains perfect at 5-0. This line is the product of USC having the history and brand name. It’s hard to compute Colorado being good at football, but it’s time to believe it. LOCK IT IN.

I might even fuck around a bit and hit that money line.

Favorites:

Virginia Tech (-6) @ North Carolina

Disrespectful line to the Hokies. I was close to making this the mortal lock.

UCF -4.5 @ Memphis

UCF ROLLS teams. Memphis’s wins are over Georgia State, South Alabama, and UConn. UCF is undefeated and hasn’t won a game by less than 20.

Underdog:

Duke +2.5 @ Georgia Tech

Duke off their bye week, and they’ve beat the Yellow Jackets 3 of the last 4 meetings. I trust David Cutcliffe to have the Dukies ready to go.

Under:

Virginia Tech @ UNC Under 58

Virginia Tech’s backup QB did not look good against Notre Dame. I know that was Notre Dame, but the dude just misses. I see the defenses have a great day against eh offenses.

Over:

West Virginia @ Iowa State Over 56

Iowa State is good? Will Grier is good? Big 12 defenses? Yes please.

Big Games

7 Washington (-3.5) @ 17 Oregon, 3:30 PM

For the first time in maybe ever, the PAC 12 has the game I’m most excited for. These teams are far tougher than most expected and the Herbert/Browning match-up will not disappoint. Oregon is off their bye week and gets the Huskies at home. I think they will be ready to roll and continue to redeem themselves from that crazy loss to Stanford last month.

Final: Oregon 31 Washington 28

2 Georgia (-7.5) @ 13 LSU, 3:30 PM

I’m appalled that College Gameday won’t be in Baton Rouge for this one. Even with LSU’s loss to Florida last week, they are a very real threat in the SEC. If they win this game, the entire playoff picture is flipped upside down. We need that mania. But, I do not think that happens here. Georgia is a wagon rolling downhill, behind a freight train, on fire. Dawgs will take care of business. Sorry Coach O.

Final: Georgia 30 LSU 23

15 Wisconsin @ 12 Michigan (-10), 7:30 PM

Gameday chose Ann Arbor as their host this weekend. It’s gonna be electric and as much as I love the Big 10, I’m not huge on this match-up. Both teams have 1 loss, making this an elimination game as far as the College Football Playoff is concerned but I don’t see the winner making any significant run. Michigan has figured it out recently, I think they feed off the energy of the Big House under the lights and pull away in the second half.

Final: Michigan 38 Wisconsin 20
